This superb Butterfield selection is in a class of its own and also extremely rare. It has flowers of a deep red-purple, which are so intense in colour, they seem to glow! The apex of the lip is an almost continuous blotch of vibrant dark red, which is further enhanced by the golden-yellow keels. One of the most strikingly coloured Pleiones and in my view superior to the more common ‘Red Grouse’.
