A Butterfield cross between a species and a natural hybrid has produced fairly uniform, mostly bi-coloured offspring. However, this selection is uniformly pale yellow and has attractive reddish-brown spotting on its lip. Due to its yunnanensis parent, Bromo carries its flowers on very tall stems. Capable of producing huge pseudobulbs.
