A recent and ambitious hybrid between two autumn-flowering species originally produced in China but since remade by Anthura and distributed via Gartenwerkstatt Schreiner in Germany. This cross has produced quite variable offspring in terms of flower colour and markings on sepals and petals. The clone I am offering was given to me by a close friend and has pale sepals and petals, overlaid to varying degrees with purple stripes and pencil marks, the flamboyant lip has five prominent yellow keels and is almost entirely covered in deep purple. The flattish green pseudobulbs have a distinct apical beak. First indications are that this hybrid is extremely vigorous and capable of making huge pseudobulbs.
