Originally made by Jan Berg in the Netherlands to confirm that true Pln. x lagenaria is natural hybrid between these two species. The same cross has since been repeated several times and numerous clones are in cultivation. I am offering a clonal selection from Ian Butterfield’s own remake of this cross which is quite different from the still rare natural hybrid and most other re-makes. Delicate pale-rose flowers, the lip well marked with yellow, purple and reddish-brown. Vigorous and easy to grow.
