One of the now ‘classic’ early Butterfield crosses and still unsurpassed today. It is also one of the darkest purple Pleione hybrids and well able to hold its own against more modern competition. This clone has inherited the best features from its parents with well-proportioned flowers of a deep glowing purple, the lip heavily marked with red spots surrounding the orange keels. Very floriforous and reliable. No collection is complete without it.
