An exceptionally fine form of a yellow flowered grandiflora which has superb colour and perfect flower shape, lacking the often slightly ragged flower shape of this species. Capable of making huge pseudobulbs but slow to increase. Its ideosynchratic features led Ian Butterfield to suspect that it may not be a pure grandiflora. My stock comes from Rainer Kretz who considered this clone to have considerable breeding potential.
