Ian Butterfield’s only selection from this cross between the deep-purple Berapi – most probably ‘Purple Sandpiper’ – and a yellow forrestii cross has produced this superb large-flowered, rich purple show stopper. The medium-purple lip is flecked with a deeper shade of purple, contrasted by pale-yellow keels and a whitish fringe.
