Named in honour of the UK’s leading orchidologist who is also the co-author of “The Genus Pleione”. A hybrid of intense coloration, the sepals and petals a reddish purple, the orange colour of the lip almost obscured by deep-red blotches. Yellow keels and a pale yellow fringe complete the picture.
