The year is speeding past and the nights are drawing in which means that the Autumn flowering plants are starting to bud. I have already seen some pics from other growers showing plants in flower but here in Natland we are a bit behind, which I do not think is a bad thing really. Its been an odd year for growing with the heat and sunshine at the beginning of the year, this set some of the Spring flowering plants back a bit but appeared to make the autumn flowering plants really race on, leading to big bulbs for this season hopefully. I will be doing a list of autumn flowering plants for sale, and another for the main offering of Spring plants - watch this space. The plant I am most looking forward to seeing in flower this year is my pet plant - Pln. praecox Reichenbachiana 'semi-alba'.....check out my photos....
